beyond the beer

Hoppy Valley Brewers Fest offers an opportunity to drink delicious craft brews while giving back to two great initiatives in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Prlaef scholarship program

Each year, the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association (PRLA) Educational Foundation awards multiple $2,000 scholarships to students who are pursuing their post-secondary education in culinary arts and hospitality management.

Since the program’s inception in 2006, the PRLAEF has awarded more than $373,000 in scholarship monies. A portion of the proceeds from Hoppy Valley will go towards the PRLEF Scholarship Program, cultivating the next generation of culinary and hospitality professionals.

Happy Valley Sports & Entertainment Alliance

One of the founding partners of Hoppy Valley, the Happy Valley Sports & Entertainment Alliance (HVSEA) is a recently launched 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization carrying out the mission to drive Happy Valley’s sports and entertainment strategy, enrich the quality of life, create economic impact, and raise the visibility of the region.

By coming to Hoppy Valley, you are helping HVSEA carry out this very mission. A portion of the proceeds will go right back into the community by helping HVSEA bring more events like Hoppy Valley Brewers Fest to the region.
