Ted & The Hi-Fis

Isaac Brackbill and Brian Egan, collectively known as The Cowpoke and The Poet, are bringing good songs, good people, and good times to Hoppy Valley! Recently making their mark on the State College music scene, they offer a country and folk vibe unlike any other.

Dive into the creative process from a few of country’s gifted song writers during a writer’s roundtable. Join Channing Wilson, Rob Snyder, & Dave Kennedy as they unveil the behind-the-scenes magic of crafting hits with some of country’s biggest names, including Luke Combs and his hit song “She Got the Best of Me”.

Just down the road in Lemont, William Ryan and Daniel Collins have created the musical gift of Caledonia. Infusing elements of country, bluegrass, folk, and Irish music they have developed their unique style, coined 'country-eastern,' which will surely keep you on your toes.

Lowjack is a staple of State College music culture making weekly stops at The Brewery and The Phyrst. Performing a blend of original tunes and iconic covers of Tom Petty, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Beatles and many more, you won’t want to miss this group of four in Hoppy Valley.

The Skoal Brothers are a high energy, blues-inspired rock ‘n roll band. With a storied tenure gracing the State College music scene, they have a dedicated fan base of locals and Penn State fans. With classical songs from legends including Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and The Grateful Dead you’ll be sure to tune in!

Donny Burns & The 3rd Degree

Donny Burns & The 3rd Degree is a high-energy rock band from State College, PA, known for lively shows and a mix of classic rock and popular hits. They’re regulars at local venues and special events like Penn State’s THON.

Ted & The Hi‑Fis is a high-energy rock band from State College, PA, led by Ted McCloskey and often joined by vocalist Molly Countermine. Known for their throwback 2000s rock covers and genre-blending sets, they’re a staple at local venues across the region.
